These are the traditional metal ball castors also known as Browns

Height when fitted 56mm
Plate fixing castors simply screw into the wooden frame.
Useful when replacing broken castors where the wood may be split,
the socket hole has become enlarged through long term use,
or the old socket is irretrievably stuck but too worn to re-use.
